Background: COVID-19 Pandemic has caused a lot of havoc for the human race, as urgent need to detect virus early and fight back stronger, scientists came up with test RT-PCR, which later on was declared gold standard. But lately, an exponential increase in false-negative rates observed, calls accuracy check statistical analysis reasons leading false-positive results. With advent Pandemic, RT-PCR testing become standard laboratory diagnosis SARS-CoV-2 infection. second wave India reported high number This measure diagnosing infection, especially considering rise variant strains each its own virulence infectivity. Imaging methods like HRCT biochemical tests such CRP, D-Dimer are being used increasingly by doctors support serological diagnostic method Covid draft further treatment protocols
